Serving Others

Our Youth Leadership Camp has gotten off to a great start! Each day's activities focus on our three pillars; Leadership Development, Volunteer Service, and Mentor Training.

Leadership development is woven throughout the camper's daily activities; from exercise activities to cooking club and reading club, our campers are stepping up and taking charge. Over the last week, they have expanded their schedule to include game time; adding even more fun and camaraderie to their team.

Our first volunteer service initiative was designed to give campers the opportunity to inspire belonging within our community. As part of this effort, we chose to support Operation New Hope's Ready4Work graduates by launching a letter-writing campaign to those who successfully graduate the program. We look forward to expanding this effort throughout the summer and beyond.
